Access to a reliable internet connection is more important than ever. You may qualify for assistance with your phone or internet bill through the Lifeline and/or Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBBP). Both programs are available to new and existing MTA customers.
We are proud to participate in these programs in order to help close the digital divide and to be able to offer high-quality internet plans at a low cost to eligible members.
The Lifeline Program is a federally funded program that provides a monthly discount on phone or internet service to eligible households. Qualification is determined based on income or your participation in several federal assistance programs, and you must recertify every year. You must qualify through the Universal Service Administrative Company before enrolling with MTA. Emergency Broadband Benefit Program
The Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBBP) is a temporary federal program developed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic that provides eligible households a monthly discount of up to $75 for broadband service. Before enrolling in this program through MTA, you must first pre-qualify by applying online or via mail with the FCC. As of May 12, 2021, eligible households have been able to enroll.

Step One | Self-Verification
All households must complete self-verification through the National Verifier.
Step Two | Enroll With MTA
Once you have received verification that you are eligible for the EBBP, complete the form below to give consent and begin your enrollment with MTA.
