Swiss-Style Tournament

A Swiss-system tournament involves participants playing a set number of rounds, but not against every opponent. Players are matched based on current scores to avoid repeats. The winner has the highest total points. It’s used when round-robin isn’t practical due to many entrants, ensuring no early eliminations. Unlike round-robin or single-elimination, matchups depend on prior results, and one bad game doesn’t end a player’s chances.

Some games may require an altered format.

League Schedule

Match Rescheduling

Games should be played during match nights as much as possible. However, there may be factors for some teams that make this very difficult. For these reasons we will allow matches to be rescheduled if done so 24 hours ahead of the scheduled match time and both teams agree. However if not, no shows result in a forfeit of weekly points.
